1.The overall planning and design of steel silo follow the principle of overall fortification. The production process should be as close as possible, and as automatic as possible; Special safety walls and isolation belts (such as firewall, green belt, fire door, etc.) should be set up for buildings and mechanical equipment with explosion risk, and appropriate fireproof materials should be used; The design of lightning protection, grounding, anti-static and fire protection should be taken into full consideration and safe and reliable preventive measures should be taken.
2.In the structural design of steel silo, safety devices such as ventilation Windows, outlet, and inspection holes should be set up to maintain atmospheric pressure in the silo. The material level device should be set in the silo and silo can send out the full signal and prevent the blockage of the hoist and conveyor; Explosion-proof windows should be set up for local vulnerable places (such as closed passageways, catwalks, etc.) to achieve the purpose of leakage and explosion; Use lightning rod or lightning belt, etc.
3.Ventilation and dust removal process design. Reasonable ventilation and dust removal technology play a positive role in preventing dust explosion. It is very important to choose the right parameters and methods when designing. Try to use a dust cover, protective cover. Select the appropriate suction point location and the structure form of the wind cover, especially for the feeding part, so as to form a wind belt with the outside world when feeding, in order to prevent dust from flying. Install a dust hood near the dust source to limit dust to a small range.
4.In the design of the food conveying process, the process flow should be brief, the equipment should be selected and arranged reasonably, and the equipment should be equipped with dustproof and explosion-proof equipment and sealed as far as possible, and the magnetic separation equipment should be used as far as possible. Secondary purification should be adopted for the part with higher dust concentration. All mechanical and electrical equipment should be grounded to prevent the accumulation of static electricity.
5.In electrical design, lamps and wires should be chosen with correct specifications and models, and explosion-proof type should be adopted. A vibration reduction device should be used to reduce dust flying and diffusion. In the design, we must follow the principle of overall fortification and do a good job in the supporting design of dustproof and explosion-proof.
6.Adopt new technology of dustproof and explosion-proof
Mist spray dust suppression technology not only improves the current dust control methods but also broadens the existing new ideas of dust control. In addition, the application of water spray explosion-proof dust removal technology can effectively inhibit the dust flying and the dust suppression effect is better. It is more suitable for grain and oil processing plants and grain transfer warehouses.
In addition to the above points, in order to effectively prevent dust explosion of grain steel silos, while actively taking dust removal and explosion-proof measures, it is also necessary to strengthen the dust removal and explosion-proof technical management and technical training during the use of silos.
